Can anyone help?

I have just bought a 997 Cabriolet and need to get a child seat for my 18 month old, which is front facing, to fit in the back.

I have been told that there are not many seats that fit the back of a Porsche cabriolet, so any tips/ recommendations are greatly appreciated as I need to get one as soon as possible.

Thanks

Not really helpful for straight answer, but go to Halfords as they will let you try every seat they have to find one that's suits your car,

I hear the cab rear seats are more 'upright' than the coupe so slightly less space, the other issue will be if they fall asleep, you can't tilt the seat back as much due to losing space and the recline won't be as good as a normal 5 door hatch, so young 'uns tend to fall asleep slouched forward but you can gently push them back into the seat smile

I have a maxi-comfy cosi in my 997

Hope this helps

Plenty of threads on here. Would be worth a search as one or two were for Cabrios.

Tried that but message comes up saying PH search is down for maintenance.

Just use Google. Adding word pistonheads is usually sufficient.

The rear cab seats are not only more upright but have a slight lean forward.

I have both my girls in Guardian Kiddy Pro seats as they scored best in Which? reports. It has an ingenious front protector pad which also helps deal with the slump forward, as described above, and these seats also fit in a cab too. See pic below (not taken in 911 but family car) and you will get idea. You can also get the seats with isofix connectors.
