Was lucky enough to drive 73 RSR 0865 at Spa Francorchamps with Gold Track . The first time Brumos 95 has been to Spa in its illustrious career .
Managed a few laps until The noise police sent me home .
Will be back in june with a switchable megaphone system .
The car was MASSIVELY surprising . It seemed to weigh nothing . It was fast and so , so loud . I had a feeling it was too loud when I drove past the start finish line and caught people in the corner of my eye with fingers in their ears mouthing " f++++++ hell! " . The turn in , the brakes , the way it dealt with curbs was astounding , you know what they say about werks cars , they just werk !
These things must have been like spaceships in 73 .
It turned it so well and the slingshot out of corners was such a surprise . The car was running the standard 2.8 l engine not the trick 3.0 that the mighty Neil Bainbridge is building for her .
It was a very emotional experience , Just to sit in the car nearly bought tears to my eyes . A dream come true .
A few of my porsche mates on here asked to see some pics and vids so here we are :
BTW a huge thank you to Michael Roock and his team for running the car so well .

They were probably just vocalising their joy at hearing a proper Porsche.I remember hearing an ST still in race set up running and then tare arsing around the quiet N. Yorks roads, you could hear it going for a week, absolutely stunning and pretty much made an F1 car sound like a pusssy.

Utterly fabulous. Much is spoken about what a real Porsche is. It's that.

That knocks every single be-winged, air conditioned, leather ash trayed, tacky stickered, pointless PCB'd, overweight, over sized, tech laden GT3 variant into a tin hat.
I thought my 73 RS was up there, 'that' is on another planet.
thats very kind , funny though as my ultimate is a 73 rs as you can enjoy it on the road I thought my 73 RS was up there, 'that' is on another planet.

thanks mate . the sad thing is after we modified the pipes it was only 1 db too loud but they would not have it .I remember hearing an ST still in race set up running and then tare arsing around the quiet N. very frustrating
