Quick sanity check on pricing

I managed to open my garage door onto the underside of the boot lid jjust over where it says'gt2' and put in a scrape.

I've been quoted 500 quid all in by a reputable bodyshop to strip and repaint bootlid.

Reasonable?

GT2 bootlid, isn't that made of grp? Could it be polished out or a localised repair made.

If you need any info on removing the spoiler blade to take the lid in for repair give me a PM as I just removed and refitted mine.

Just looked up the price of the boot insignia, oh!

The boot insignia, if it is undamage, can be removed with a hair dryer by heating up the decals until the glue, double sided tape, melts. replace tape from Ebay
