Is this common on the PDK Spyder? Never experienced it on my old manual car but there's definitely a throaty "pop" when decelerating and downshifting during enthusiastic driving. Common on my old decat GTR but this is a standard PDK Spyder.

Oh yes!!!

Best option on the spyder is pse. Popping, banging, noise all normal.

Is it just applicable to the PDK car? Never had any of this with my manual Spyder with PSE.

Having just come back from a most enjoyable local blat around Mid Wales I can confirm plenty of pops, burbles, bangs etc on downshifts on my PDK

PSE seems to make a more audible difference on my PDK than it did on my manual car. The pops and bangs are an extra bonus.

Almost hate to say it but the flat out acceleration with PDK seems more urgent than the manual. Obviously you gain a little from the quicker change and not having to go off throttle - love it.
