Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 Tyre - On 996 C4S or Turbo
Discussion
So its time to change tyres, i'm using conti's at the mo, on standard rims. The car is a 996 C4S with X51.
I have started doing more track days and the car is not a daily driver.
Has anyone had any experience of these tyres on a 996? Comments welcome please. They are slightly more expensive than the conti's but I am not worried about that. Wear rates are also of no concern as my annual mileage is not that high. Are they worth a go?
Cheers.

Definitely worth it. I had them on my 996GT3, and they were very good othe road in all conditions, not a noisy tyre like R888s. On track they were very good too. Not ultimately as grippy as Cups or R888s but very good nonetheless and I assume a step up from more standard road tyres. Also they last a very long time, amazing given the grip level.
Go for it, you will not be disappointed. And shop around for the best prices. I got mine from Demon Yweeks as they were cheapest by some way at the time.

I considered this for my 4S a while ago, a link to the thread is

StuB had reported success on them with a turbo.
In the end I just ran my normal PS2 for track work and they went fine - bit of blistering but that rubbed off after a half day back on road hooning.
Mine are still impressing me. here
