996tt wide arches, body mods?

im looking to get into a 996tt at the end of the year, i saw a 911 turbo for sale recently that had 993 gt2 style rivet on arches fitted? and i thought it looked pretty awsome with the right wheels aswell.

its just a thought for the minute, but was wondering who in the uk supplys bodykits/arches/spoilers for the 996tt.

i love the look of the widebody cars, just cant seem to find much searching the net?

We fitted 996 gt3 rsr front and rear wing extensions and front and rear bumpers to a cup car that i put a 996tt engine into. if you google pics to see if you like the look, ill dig our pics out aswell. we make and supply a lot of specialist in the uk and quiet a few teams in the pcgb club championship. if you email me ill get some prices over to you. if you wana go real crazy we do 997rsr to fit 997 and 996 bodied cars.

have seen the mega wide arch welt stuff, dont need to go that far, just interested in making the car look a bit meaner and different!

Hi Mark, how did you route the intercoolers with the RSR rear archers?

Ill sort the pics over the weekend and email them monday nick. ive got to get the engine back in my cayman racer today then rush off to a wedding.

because the rear tyres are a lot taller than a 996 or 7 turbo road car we couldnt fit the over the tyre intercooler ducts that they have, that run from the front of the rear quarter. i put some big scoops on the rear quarter windows, not the most subtle things. they get plenty of air in though. ill put some pics on of the car, ive got some on the laptop somewhere

Just waiting on the photos off the customer of the body and ducting etc. somehow ive deleted mine! theres 1 of the rear arches at the end of a thread i started titled- damaged/repaired 959. and a shot of the unfitted rsr front and fr wing extensions on the 996 rsr panels thread. sorry for the delay

Agreed, doing it so it looks factory is difficult, the WB shape doesn't really lend itself to the "wider" look.

It will look terrible as a 996 rsr? its a beautiful car? as for the 997 rsr conversion, its one of the best lookin porkas ever. ive only got 2 pics of the cup/rsr. ill put them on tomorrow when the laptops charged
