Is there a proven better alignment set up for a 996 c4s than what the tyre places hunter set up machines have? Or do you all stick to the machines?
I ask as on my sapphire cosworth 4x4 proper enthusiasts who drive road and track had found set ups that handled better and didnt eat the tyres as quickly.and I know the 4s eats them fairly quick anyway

My set up is optimised for even tyre wear on twisty roads with a fair bit of lateral force....unless you weave down the motorway you will wear the inner shoulders quicker than the outer.

Ah I see.maybe not advisable as its only a road car and I do a fair bit of motorway.
What is it that kills the tyres on the 4s? The toe out and camber on acceleration is what ate the saff cossie tyres

I get 10-12k miles from mine which I consider reasonable given my pattern of use.
