I've used them for the last 3 years & they've been excellent. They're very light and are strong so long as you don't hit anything hard. A friend had a big crash at the 'ring a couple of years back and broke every single spoke on the front wheel when he hit the armco; the rear fared a little better but it peeled half the circumference of the outer rim off.
I have loads of action shots of my car with them on but I can't find one of it stationery! This is the best I can find of it in motion that gives a reasonable view of the wheels.

If you've seen his car clean they will have looked grey, because that's their colour. It's often very dirty though, when the wheels look black but it's sometimes hard to notice any of this due to the distraction of seeing the latest member of Cheshire's wildlife to be massacred by his front bumper.

White looks good too, Mike's other set are white and look great when they're clean.
