Since my Evo is not the best car for trackdays due to it being set up for sprints, (short gearing, etc), I plan to do a few trackdays in my Gen 1 Cayman S. Given the issues relating to oil surge when used on track with R compound tyres, I thought one of these kits may be a good idea.

Has anyone fitted one or had any experience of them?

I've never really been convinced that a deeper sump / windage tray is anything more than a sticking plaster for the fundamental problems of running a wet sump on a track car. A better solution would be the Accusump system.

I'll grant you that the Accusump is probably a more comprehensive solution, but I've used baffled sumps in a variety of cars over the years without any issues.
