I picked up my new Cayenne on Friday but tonight when I went out and moved it I noticed some oil marks on the wet ground.

Could this be an oil leak or just the rain washing off some residual oil? I will of course contact OPC on Monday

Put a clean piece of Plywood or similar underneath overnight, then you will get a better idea where it is coming from.

It could be a leak. Why would there be residual oil?

Not diesel is it?

No idea, just wasn't sure if anyone else has seen this before. I'd be surprised!

Yes, I checked this morning and there was definitely something on the driveway underneath, near where the sump appeared to be. I moved the car and when I came back a couple of hours later there didn't appear to be anything left on the drive.

Whatever it was it perhaps wasn't oil. Coolant perhaps?

Will have another check tonight. Will give OPC a shout tomorrow anyway

Also, Rear door when opened also dripped a lot of water inside. Would this be deemed normal?

Is it condensate (die-ionised water) from the air con outlet?

I don't think so, it definitely left an oil type "sheen" in the wet driveway

Will give OPC a shout tomorrow, the sales end was sharp enough so let's see what service can do

It will leave a sheen on wet ground-wait til it's dry.

I'm actually out of the country for a few days, so can't see if it's still doing it.

I spoke to OPC and they said it's common for air con to produce some residue at the start which will evaporate.

Will check when I get back tomorrow night
