Brake choice - Genuine or On line replacements

Am looking to replace the front discs and pads on my 3.2 Carrera,
and have been quoted a number of differing prices for the package.
Would I have any concern in buying a cheaper ( than Porsche badged )
from one of the on line porsche part shops ?
Only want the standard brakes as mostly road use with the odd half a track day.
Or is it worthwhile upgrading to a sport package with the drilled discs ?
( have already asked the forum on skimming discs and decided its a no-no )
