Having Purchased the 911SC on new years day.
An older restoration by the family that had owned the car since new the work was done 10 years ago and dry stored since then with only 1000 dry miles each year.
however they tried to modernise the look with the colour and wheels.
However the paint had sunk in a number of places due I know now to bad preparation and not doing a bare metal re spray

As the Car is going to Ireland I thaught he might like this look LOL great for Paddys day

However we decided that a correct 1978 blue and original Fuchs would transform the car and working with my local body shop we have done a complete back to metal re spray

Thaught you might like to see the end result

Sorry my phone camera is not great but in the flesh she looks stunning the Car is for my Brother so I hope he likes it

Off to Ireland Sunday so only a few days to play with it before I hand her over

See if there are Porsche part numbers on the back. If yes they're v likely to be genuine 993/Boxster/996 wheels - post the sizes, part numbers and offsets. If they just say "Made in Italy" they're copies and probably hard to shift for meaningful money.

Genuine ones have numbers cast in either side of the valve e.g. 8 52 meaning an 8J rim with an ET52 offset. If they're replicas you'll need to get those number off the back and post them here for more advice on what they might fit and possible value. smile
