I have a sneaking suspicion my battery is fooked (I'll know more tomorrow morning) and isn't holding charge. It's come at worst possible time as I need it to get to the office on Weds/Thurs and we're driving to Amsterdam on Thurs night. So, on the assumption it is kaput, how easy is a new one to get hold of? Is it simply a trip to Halfords or is it an uber rare one that only a specialist Porsche garage will have?

It's a pretty standard one, should be easy to get from any number of places. I ordered my last one from here and it was delivered next day no probs - www.tayna.co.uk

I got a Bosch S4 for about 80 beer vouchers from Eurocarparts. They usually have sale codes so look out for them.

Just had a look and they are doing 20% off so the above is still about 80

Bosch S5 Type 100 with a five year guarantee. Order from Amazon supplied by Eurocarparts. 79.94. Cheaper than ordering from Euro car parts directly, even with the 20% discount codes.
