oil levels 996 3.6

My oil level is 1 to 2 bars above min when the car is stone cold and when up to operating temperature ie low 80s its 1 to 2 bars below max when switched off.Is this normal or do I need to top up.

I like to run 2-3 bars below max cold so maybe a wee top up?
