2000 Boxster Hood Control arms & Microswitches.

All - I have replaced the roof on my 2000 Boxster, but managed to break those weak plastic ball joints. I broke one at first, then the other when I had to replace the drive cable, and it somehow came out of sync with its closed position. with the button depressed it didn't sense it was fully closed and ran on breaking the joint.



Is there a microswitch in the gearboxes? I have only had the N/S out so far and didnt see one. I dont want to open up the other, if I dont need to remove it?

Is there a Porche technical reference for se-setting the roof mechanism?

In the archives there are various threads/posts covering various Boxster soft top ills. I know next to nothing about the thing but someone posts there that does. I can't recall his name but a search ought to turn up his name.
