Fancy a run -Porsche on the prom(Llandudno)Sunday 28th April
Discussion
As per title - Anyone fancy a run out to Porsche on the Promenade to Llandudno on Sunday 28th April. I am going to take the missus for a nice drive and some Fish and Chips and possibly a pint of the black stuff on the way back.
I will be heading off from near Sheffield but would meet anywhere nearish or on the way.
Add names here.

To be honest it was nice to have a walk round the old bit but mrs Lumpy wanted a new handbag and then ensued bottom lip drop when there were no good shops.
Ah well saved my self a small fortune until next time.
Anyways - do you fancy the run to Porsche on the promenade or what. I got talking to a guy in the Sheffield Audi garage who went last year and said it was a real good day out with a few good driving roads enroute.
Full details are in this month's Porsche Post.
The Llandudno event is from 11am, Porsches are parking on the promenade at Llandudno, with a drive round The Great Orme in the afternoon. Perhaps obviously the event is free to enter but there is a modest toll to pay to go round the Orme. PCGB are expecting over 100 cars this year. Llandudno is well situated for drivers - 30 mins from the Evo Triangle and 10 minutes away from the Conway Tunnels, best enjoyed with a low gear and a sports exhaust!
For those able to make a weekend of it, the event is preceded by a track day at the Anglesey Circuit (as seen on TV's Fifth Gear) on Saturday 27th April. This has partly come about as a request from PHer Zeb and me asking the Club to put on more "Northern" trackdays and so I have become involved in promoting it! PCGB discount is being offered to all TIPEC members automatically as a gesture by the Club and also to those referred by me so please PM me for the booking form if interested. For anyone that has not participated in a PCGB track day before, they are an ideal starting point for novices - it is intended to be a Porsche only day so you will not be chancing your pride and joy with the local yoof in their rally reps proving how much quicker they are than your Porsche! The circuit has benefitted from significant investment recently and this should prove to be a fabulous day.

Excellent.
A couple of the RS boys on here have alerted me to just how good the Anglesey Circuit is and we will be using the full circuit.

Last few places now remaining for PCGB track day at the Anglesey Circuit next Saturday, 27th April. Full or half days can be booked. Booking is directly with PCGB.
All Porsches benefit from PCGB discounted price if referred by me in an attempt by the Club to promote this new venture. This is a Porsche only day.
The weather forecast is good, it's a great facility and there are some seriously nice cars signed up to attend already.

As mr.k' s co conspirator to get more track days from Pcgb ooop north I'd agree with rob and say get to Anglesey with us ...looks like the making of a good weekend and these days are ideal for a novice. If your just coming to watch and fancy a pax lap then just give either of us a shout. Don't worry we're both so slow you'll be able to pick flowers on the way round! The Llandudno event is from 11am, Porsches are parking on the promenade at Llandudno, with a drive round The Great Orme in the afternoon. The link above takes you to the booking form for the track day.
There isn't really any further specific information about the day on the PCGB website.
There are a couple of threads on the PCGB forum about the weekend if you ever venture on to there - if not it's free to join, just log in with a valid email address.
