rroro on here has it done - ive been in his and it does sound immense. Theres a thread in the GT section of 911uk discussing it but its a worthwhile mod id say.
Though any exhaust fabricator can knock you one up though - Hayward and Scott have the same for sale for £390 inc vat, not sure if thats fitted or not though

Cheers matey Though any exhaust fabricator can knock you one up though - Hayward and Scott have the same for sale for £390 inc vat, not sure if thats fitted or not though

H&S fabricated my bypass for me and created a template off it as it was their first 997 GT3 bypass - they can therefore offer the same to other 997.1 GT3 owners. Not sure of the price though, probably around 600 + fitting + VAT but best call them and ask if interested. I love my bypass, it adds so much to the character of the car. I've raved about it loads, on the 911uk thread mentioned by kingston. One nice surprise is that I've since done 2 trackdays without any issues... probably more down to luck than anything else though!
As stated above £390 inc. Vat + fitting

My car will not pass noise test at Goodwood with standard exhaust hence now fitted with Carnwall remote control.

See exhaust options/remote control.
Might be useful with these bypass mods.

I have the remote, with the bypass but always set it to loud. I thought you were not supposed to drive hard with the flaps closed the whole time - too restrictive. Is that wrong?http://www.haywardandscott.com/porsche/911/997/por...

Lucky enough to live in NZ where there are no restrictions on track and never seen a test for loudness on the road. Use the bypass from shark weeks and unplug the electrics to the valve and you have the best sounds all the time. Not sure if it does any harm to the car but sounds wonderful, the way it should be allowed to sound.
