Have any of the people who had to cancel their P-O-T bookings got their credit sorted out? It's all a bit radio silent again.
Cheers

I cancelled many weeks before the event and the communication was fairly poor.Allegedly on canc/waiting list but no feedback as to wether my place was sold on.
I have no idea if I have a % credit as no one has had the courtesy to tell me.
Not ideal. It would have been a lot easier for me to sell the place on as per other trackdays.
As the PoT is run by enthusiasts you would think that they would like to treat customers the way they would like to be treated.

sent more messages via the website and emails. Radio silence. Not great really.

I have a feeling the RS day will not be the same as before now.

How about a new RS day venue and approach?

Admittedly I cancelled with only a days notice but have also had radio silence. Previous years there has always been a reserve list, this year it seems the new organisers put a few people off with their membership scheme.

What did the terms and conditions of booking stipulate?

It is surprising that the PoT organisers have not opined on this matter so far, as I suspect many signed up to the event on the basis they knew the PoT organisers from previous years, and trusted that PoT would do an even better job compared to Easytrack. This event is as much a paddock social amongst Porsche owners as it is a trackday itself.

Can't comment on the organising on the day as I wasn't there! Not seen any negatives though.

The level of comms is appalling though!

On that basis alone I'm not convinced about using my credit anyway.

Got an email back from Phil, so all sorted there. Not sure how I feel about P-o-T. I do like to think that a TDO is easily contactable and they fail that test massively.

However the proof I guess is really the quality of the days organised which I haven't turned up to yet so will certainly give them the benefit of the doubt!

So it took a bit of time and a few emails but hats off they came up with the goods.
Comms could def be better but a positive result for me.
