Picked up my new Turbo S Cabriolet earlier today from Porsche East London, moved up from R8 V10 which was a great car but have a feeling this car will keep me at Porsche for some time to come ... as R8 doesn't go back for 1 more week, will try and get some moody shots of both together over weekend.

Anyway here is some pics i promised from earlier posts...

yes i think a very good deal and due to new model coming out late end of year, was a good time to buy. this was built in nov'12 and registered dec'12.

Re R8 V10, yes its a great car and have no regrets but needed a change and porsche turbo is a step up in my books in terms of overall performance and usage and heritage.

Nice to have been in a position to own both cars...

Apparently, a lot of people don't want '13' reg cars eek

As the OP has now mentioned, it was a pre-reg' car (December 2012) anyway.

Does that mean I'll have a good chance of getting a 13 number plate at the next DVLA Auction? I like 13s!

Looks stunning... Do like them in white. Did you get a good discount??

Thinking of getting a Turbo too... Prices bound to drop with new 991 turbo due soon although there will be huge price difference between late 997 turbo & 991 turbos..

Awesome bit of Kit Alf.

I had the non S PDK Turbo cab and it was a great experience.
Coming from a 430 the novelty of "Free" launches never wore off in fact i couldnt resist launching away from the traffic lights just to brighten my journey up a little while amazing every other motorist who can never quite believe that a 911 has just disappeared into thin air smile
