Hi guys looking at purchasing a cayman s sport and wondering what to look out for and if anyone has or has owned one and what are they like? as I've not test driven one yet.

Are they worth the extra money over the normal s?

Cheers guys

A great car.....My only gripe was that at 6' tall...I was probably 1" too tall for comfort.
But I managed to keep it 1 year, so can't have been that bad.

Not sure how it compares to a std S in terms of driving etc, I'm afraid

Ianan's comments are really interesting to me, as I'm just over six feet tall, and purchased a Cayman R from an OPC last week, albeit unseen, to find that even with the seat cushions removed, I couldn't comfortably drive it for more than an hour. Fortunately the OPC are taking it back for a fair fee. Probably going to now wait and see how I fit in a latest generation, which I believe is 30mm longer in the cockpit ?

I would not pay extra to get one, they are well over priced and offer NOTHING over a normal one.
to the point you can gen a gen 2 for the same price !!!!

they drive the same as the standard one, as they are the same car in every way, no bespoke options :-(
