Hi All,

Can anyone give me any insight as to what pressures work well in R888 tyres on a MK1 GT3 (996) on track ?

Thanks!

I've been running 30 front and rear (hot) on the same tires (R888) on my mk1 GT3 when I'm on track.
Has worked very well for me.

That is temperature I aimed for and has worked really well. Same for cups!

Fwiw, the tyre manufacturers give you accurate data on what the tyres should be run at to get the most from their product.

Toyo downgraded the R888 in terms of specs a while ago. The current recommendations are
Operating temp 160F-220F (ideal 200F), Hot inflation 32-38PSI, Camber -1deg to -3deg.
It used to be high 30s to low 40s for pressure and -2.5deg to -5deg for camber.

For MPSC Michelin say operating range 160-220F (ideal 200F), Hot Inflation 32PSI Front, 36PSI rear, Camber -1.5deg to -3deg (with max allowable -4deg)

Gibbo, I've only used corsas on the Ferrari. Max hot pressure for that tyre is 34psi from Pirelli.

Thanks m8, shall ensure I don't exceed 34psi hot with them then. smile

On the SuperSports Michelin recommended I aimed for approx 36 front and 38 rear hot at track, seemed to work well, would you agree or have you seen anything to suggest otherwise with the MPSS tyre?
