Hopefully not a repost, but Evo have an article on the incoming gt3, not much new NEWS and all seems to still be guess work to some extent.

Ohh there also the small matter of toppling the GTR ring lap time. Similar power and both paddle shift and much lighter so should be acheivable (no ?)

I'd like to be the first person to prematurely congratulate Porsche for finally producing a car that can beat the splendid Nissan GTR, six years after it came out and still offer a two year warranty wink

That article is as useful as their F40 buying guide.

Isn't the new GT3 due to be launched at Palexpo Geneva in March?

WRT the GTR, the GT3 and Turbo models really are in a different class.

The new GT3

It will have an engine
And a gearbox
Wheels, probably
It will come in some colours
It will be a Porsche
It will have more, or less, power than a preceding GT3 model
It will be lighter due to new material construction, or heavier
It will accelerate quite quickly

It WILL be faster around the 'Ring than its predecessor.
It WILL cost more than its predecessor.

And is the warranty still invalidated if you use the 'launch control'?
