I've said it before and I'll say it again.

fking hideous.

Which reminds me - I was in my favoured tyre emporium yesterday ordering some rears for my car, and one of the lads mentioned that a Spyder with the same hardtop came in last week.

They'd not seen a Spyder before and thought the hardtop was standard...
(Apparently the owner was after one Bridgestone tyre as he'd driven on a flat and delaminated it - he had to leave the car there for nearly a week whilst they sourced one.)

That'll be retribution for making his car look like ste.

I don't understand why the dealer doesn't sell the hardtop seperately and take the wrap off?? Neither add to the saleability of otherwise ok car.

Doesn't make the rear boot more usable - you can't open it with the hardtop on!

Now that really is something very special indeed. I could just imaging having to drive that thing down a busy high-streetpaperbag

I've never understood the point of a hardtop on any convertible.

Why hasn't someone created a hard top that simply recreates the rag top?

Good job he has got one in the front as well then!

I don't think it looks much different to old hard tops - the wrap makes it look out of place, take it off and I am sure it would look a lot better and blend in more.

Seem prices are holding up - or is someone trying to get the price of the hard top back?? Anyone paying desperate enough to spend £5k on a hard top should have bought a Cayman!!

i'm guessing you don't use yours to do a 30 mile commute on the motorway in winter?

No, but I drive mine in any weather, any season.

I've driven from Notts to North Wales in the pissing rain and cold before without an issue.
Surely a normal cab is sufficiently insulated from noise and cold - the new 991 for example has a fantastic hood.
