Hey guys,

Just a quick question, which models of 911 have the capability of hands-free? I mean which year onwards or model have the capability of hands free. Other than that how do you know which cars have hands-free capabilities or not?

I want to buy a Porsche but want to make sure it has hands-free if not then its a waste.

Thank you,

A hands free 911? We are getting there.

Most of the controls are now operated or limited by electronic aids so there's only really the steering left! And that's now electrically assisted.

Soon, you will be able to sit in the back and marvel at what men in white coats can do. A 7 minute ring time with no hands?

You betcha! tongue out

At the Millbrook bowl it's apparently possible to drive around the top lane, hands off, at 100 mph.

On an early Fifth Gear, didn't Tiff Needell set the 'cruise' and then climb in the back and read the paper?

Or did I dream that biggrin

If you want to keep Porsche extended warranty then your only choice is to the a 2nd generation 997 with PCM3 or the new 991.

If you're not fussed about a Porsche warranty then you can go for a 1st generation 997 and choose between Tooki, mObridge, and Dension as aftermarket options that use the car controls (as long as the car was originally fitted with the telephone module) so no aftermarket stuff will be showing other than a discreet mic. They aren't cheap. range between £500 and £800 fitted depending on whether or not you want iPod integration too.
