Boxster horn sounding when locking car?

What's it doing that for? It just gives a little 'beep'. I've checked all the doors and boots, the lights aren't one. Any ideas?

Yip it is most likely the centre consul box lock is not shut properly.

This happens on my 996 cab if you leave the centre console open as its got a microswitch in it apparently! Took me a year of annoyance before I took it to the specialist who pointed it out to me.

Check that all compartments are shut!

Sorted! Did a bit of googling and as you say, the centre console lid wasn't shut. Cheap, quick and simple fix

It also happens with the glove box.
