I have owned many cars in my time but i cannot believe just how good this car is for comfort, handling and speed.

3 weeks in and still in love with this machine.

Thank you Cummings of Bodmin for a truly outstanding car.

Should you really be using your phone in a petrol station?

I knew exactly what i was in for and am very comfortable with the fuel consumption. Would not have bought it if i couldn't afford it.

So far i have an average of 15 mpg, the city traffic giving around 9 mpg.

Fast driving using tiptronic gets me around 10 mpg.

10mpg!

Jeez, what size of fuel tank do these come with?

What can you do between fills - 200 miles?

I accept with any "hot" sports car ownership comes with eye popping MPG but 10 MPG would make me weep. My 996 had 27mpg up to Middlesborough other day and from Bournemouth it was one tankfull which I'm more than happy about but with the OP's figures in my car I would of considered going up in my missus Kia! Unless if the Company is paying for it, which I suspect some people have the advantage of and don't let on? !

The entire cayenne range is about as far from ideal motoring as I can see; nonetheless, glad you enjoy it, it's good at what it does, and that it continues to bankroll future 911 development.

I'm rapIdly forming the opinion that the next GT3 will be utterly devastating.

I drive a Cayenne S on a Porsche / Michelin driving day recently and was blown away by the thing.

Comfortable, handled unbelievably well, pulled like a very fast train, sounded good and bloody good on the off road course too as it has proper controllable difflocks.

I'd have one tomorrow if a) I could afford one and b) I could afford the fuel as I'd be using it all the time.

Astonishing car. Don't knock it until you've driven it.

Just checked out your new Turbo S, beautiful in black.

This is my first Porsche and cannot think of a better all rounder.
