Any thoughts on the following prices (parts only)?

Throttle Body - £750.00 + VAT

Air Mass Meter - £331.60 + VAT

Fairly easy DIY job?

I've not personally done either although I have been reading recently about removing and cleaning the throttle body and it looks relatively ok for a DIY job.

I also read about cleaning the MAF although I decided against it. It seems to work for some people but others encounter problems as a result of their cleaning it. Might be worth a go though if you are going to get a new one anyway?

Oh and I just remembered, I think there is potential for unleashing more power by using a 911 throttle body; may be worth investigating.
