Hi guys

As above , collected my 997 from RSJ on Saturday.
Firstly the car was stunning , amazing level of preparation at RSJ.
Nice handover from Darren.

Now to the car.

Well it's the first time I have driven a Porsche having had rep mobiles and an M3.
The initial start up sounds nice, cracking and popping of the exhaust , love that.
Sounds even better with the Sports exhaust on.

The feeling of buying my first Porsche and just getting in it was a moment that hopefully will live with me forever.
A real sense of achivement but also my dreams coming true of owning this aspirational childhood dream brand.

The cars seems much more alive than an M3 which was as fast but a bit dull.
I don't think I will ever think this feels dull , can't imagine getting bored of it.
Really like the satnav in it too compared to BMW.
The handling of the car is beautiful.
Far too hard with the PASM on Sport , standard is just fine.
Everything I hoped it would be.
Hell of a lot of car for £35000.

Taken it easy yesterday , didn't want to get carried away and embarress myself but it been a great first 2 days.
You find out what all the fuss is about with Porsche when you first drive one.
Saturday was a great day in my life.
Thanx again to all at RSJ , very nice people to deal with.

Congrats Seb, get some pictures up of your pride and joy...

While I've not dealt with RSJ directly, I have a few friends who have and all comments are very positive!

Enjoy,
Lewy

Nice car.

I just had a look at RSJ's stockist - does Joel's camera only have b+w film loaded?

Nice car enjoy, I had a very similar car colour and spec wise, was the best car I have ever had in respect to a car for all occasions, fast, but comfy, flash but subtle when required, would have another in a heart beat. Upgraded to a 997 GT3 RS which was epic but not a fraction of the usability the C2S had, if I had to drive a car every day it would be a C2S.

Congrats on fulfilling the dream. A very nice looking car with a great spec.
