Did I see a 993 GT?

Whilst at Bournemouth OPC looking at the new 991 C4S I caught out the corner of my eye a 993 GT. Well I'm sure it said GT but definitely a 993. Complete with turbo look body etc. Went straight into workshop so assuming on a check drive? How rare are they as according to net, not exactly common. I think the reg was M300 or 800?

I could of swore it was just GT. Looking on net, they did have them as with just GT on the back.

The badge on the back if a 993 GT2 just says GT not GT2. Awesome piece of kit!

Very rare - as their £200k - £300k prices would suggest. Single figures in RHD IIRC?
Not that much more power than a turbo (450 plays 408) but 200kg lighter.

The GT badge as shown here. If it was a GT then it did look good. Midnight blue in colour. It was RHD.

There are more replicas in RHD than real cars but being at an OPC prob increases the likelihood of it being the real deal. It's the most exciting 911 I've ever driven. More exciting than a 600bhp twin turbo 996 GT3 even.

Pretty sure there wasn't a RHD one in midnight blue. Other than the one that is now black ???


My old car car midnight blue but LHD (on Thomas front page www.germansportscars.de). GreameL was ocean blue I believe.

RHD cars were straight yellow, red, black.

Remember seeing 2 x silver cars at Spa one year. One LHD and one RHD. Possible the car Harris owned for a while too

Martin Koenig had a silver rhd from new. The Jacobs brothers also owned a rhd silver car might have been Martin's old car.

I am pretty sure you saw a dark blue 993 Turbo complete with GT2 bodykit. It has just been sold buy a local specialist dealer I know and was probably there for a check over before going to its new owner.

Stunning looking car with over £25k of engine upgrades as well.
