Good afternoon,
I have been looking for my first Porsche for the past couple of weeks and think that I have found the (almost) perfect spec. It's Carraraweiß with the following options:
19 inch RS Spyder wheels
Adaptive Sportseats with driver memory
BOSE® Surround Sound-System including CD-player
Dynamic headlights
Sunroof
Fire extinguisher
Mats
90 l tank
Navigation
PASM (-20mm) with LSD
Park Assistent (hinten)
Tyre pressure system
Short shift
Heated seats
Spoilerlippe lackiert
Sport Chrono Paket Plus
Telefon module
Tempostat
USB/ipob connection
Dials in carraraweiß.
Now I am curious if a couple of options can be retro-fitted such as auto dipping mirrors and a CD player. Is there also the possiblity of fitting a roof rack for those occasions when I need more space? Also, do the adaptive sports seats adjust for lumber and side support?
How does the GTS compare to a Gen 2 GT3? I have stopped lookng at GT3s as it would only be my only car and having the use of two rear seats wold be very useful but I cannot help feeling I may regret not getting a GT3. Unfortunatly running two cars is not possible now but having said that, it's not a bad problem to have I guess.
Thanks,
Pete

I've run a GTS 4 for 12 months and its a great car as a daily driver. Roof transport system (roof bars to you and me) can be had from an OPC (expensive) or occasionally on ebay s/h. You add roof box/bike or ski rack. I have the latter and its fine. As said, read the massive GTS thread. R, CMD
I had a read through but have not found any information regarding the retrofitting of the CD changer and auto dipping mirrors.
After a long chat with my brother I'm still thinking about GT3s but running one as an only car in a place that generally gets quite a bit of snow is just silly right? I do a few 'ring trips and a few trackdays year too and a GT3 is the childhood dream car but as the OH said, there is planty of time to scratch that itch.
