Tired of having a car I don't use, I've just sold my baby Aston and bought a black 2007 Turbo S - perhaps stupidly, without even test driving it. It's being delivered next weekend, and I can't wait. Now, it's still under warranty - so what do I need to look at when I get the thing and anyone have any recommendations?

My first Porsche, so quite excited.

Will post pics when I get it, assuming you guys do that round here?

Cheers

Ha. Yes- given I get less than 20mpg out of my mini, I've got no aspirations of saving the planet just yet.

Shouldn't you be polishing or cleaning something old man? How are the various broken bits getting on? You'd be welcome to drive it if I ever venture that far north!

Err, less of the old!

My broken bits are still broken which is a pain. (sic)

Anyhoo, enjoy your new car and get some pictures up when you get it.

I love them, a client of mine is on his second Turbo S and has his new one on the way next month. I've been lucky enough to experience the speed of the current one and my first thought was "something this big really shouldn't be allowed to go this fast!!"

Fuel is ridiculous but you don't buy one of these cars to worry about that :-)
