Gents,

This sounds the tits:

Has anyone on here:

1. Fitted one?
2. Got one available for sale in the UK?

I love it, sounds like a GT3 at the top end.

Jon.

Nice, deeper than the EBWerks and similar to the one I've currently got. Ilike the scream of the EB Werks one. Your 997 sounds nice...

We fitted that system for him. All I can say is that it is a lot LOUDER in the real world - videos never accurately tell the story.

This is true it might do your head in after a while but at the sametime loud to one person can be quiet to the next!

Thats the only thing that concerns me. The sound is in my opinion fantastic, at the top end it really sings. I am concerened it will be too loud, but it seems when you use cats or silencers it not only reduces the DB but changes the tone to a deeper, more GT1 like noise - which is what mine soudns like now with the Gemballa unit.

Apart from the noise what was your opinion of the unit?

Cheers,

Jon.

Jon, it actually fitted quite well and quality was pretty good. All I can say is that I personally could not live with it, but for me what one person likes in an exhaust another hates. I like loud exhausts btw, so maybe that gives you a clue as to how loud it actually is.

Personally we prefer to have a little bit of back pressure, and tend to run 100 cell cats with all our packages.

Very useful, thanks Ken. My GT2 is used simply for hooning and the rasp that seems to give would, i think, add to the overall nut-case character of the car. That said, neighbours can here me for a good mile plus away if I have it pinned now and I'm running cats and silencer..Will try to make the trip up to see you soon to talk turbos. Thanks, Jon.
