If that has 350BHP then it's not an 'S'....... I think biggrin

The specifications appear to be for a non 'S', don't they? That car is listed as a non 'S' on the OPCs site.

There is a lower mileage S, much newer there for £75k, still quite a hit in 6 months.

Wrong exhausts, wrong brakes, wrong badge - so it's not an "S" ..... rolleyes

Yep - the exhaust pipes are not correct, either. Amazing an OPC can get such basic detail wrong on an advert!

Worryingly cheap though, considering (a) it retailed at perhaps £80k not 11 months ago and (b) it is being sold by an OPC which presumably paid a lot less than £65k for it.

I am very concerned about the residuals with that sort of loss in less than a year.

That said, I wonder why it is £7,000 cheaper than the next cheapest 991 on the whole of Autotrader. And the £72k car is a manual

Something's not right here.

I don't follow your reasoning at all.

Though I admit we don't know how much the dealer bid on it, I think we can all agree it's a non-S, and that it lists at £71k and carries barely 4k of extras. It is nigh on 12 months old and has a good 12 months of mileage on it (almost 13,000 miles) so it's deserving of at least a full year's depreciation, probably much more in this market, yet the dealer is asking more than 90% of the basic list price. Heck, 87% of the fully optioned list price. Everyone will tell you a car loses up to 20% of its value in the first 10 miles of ownership. This car, if anything, is proving remarkably resilient!!

The bench mark is what they paid the seller for it, not what it's up for now.
My guess is 53k.

Which in percentage depreciation terms isn't too shabby. I thought it would be worse.

Surely this will be an ex demonstrator or do they need to tell you that in the advert?

If it is then the trade in price doesn't exist?
