Hello,
Can anyone tell me what make wheels these are. On the back they say made in Italy, look like two peice split rims. I took them off my 964 3.6 turbo and swapped for Speedlines.
Also, any idea how much they are worth. I am going to put them on ebay. Brand new p zero's all around.
Any help appreciated, thanks

They look like 3 piece turbo twist split rims to me. Not sure on value but the new tyres will be a good selling point.

See what others are on fleabay for reference.

Depends on who's looking really, sign up to wheelwes.com there'll be a few on there after them!

Personally I like them, but there's never as much demand for the wide body sizes for obvious reasons.

If they're mint & someone's after a set you should get £1000-1200 for the set, if they need rebuilt a lot less. The wheelwes guys always prefer them in need of a refurb though so you may get more interest in them as it lets them customise them to how hey want.

If you just want shot put them on a 99p start auction on eBay, there's plenty of folk have saved searches hunting these things out, they'll go for a fair bit I guarantee.

Make sure you mention the following words in your title "Porsche split rim 3 piece speed line eta beta krone vw"

Thanks for your help.
I am going to put on ebay, they are mint.
If they sell great, otherwise they will be stored a bit longer.

I would advertise them in the PCGB mag or simlair, or put them on as a classified advert on ebay. I wouldn't start with a 99p on ebay.

I put a set of genuine in great condition Cup 2 16" alloys, originally off my 993 with four good N rated tyres (rears were a bit low but legal) and got the pricely sum of £100.00.

They were worth more than that by a long way, and I should have hold onto them. The guy who bought them couldn't believe he'd got them for such a great price.

true, i was going to put a reserve on them.
The only reason I am selling them is because the missus is nagging me.
I am sure if I sell them she will find something else

Put a reserve on & you'll be inundated with lots of "wots ur bez price 4 cash innit" emails.

Believe me split rim Porsche rims like that will attract a lot of bids & find their own price on eBay.

The problem with cups is its only Porsche heads who want them & that's a small audience. These are even smaller as they're widebody wheels. The bag boys probably prize design 90's above cups!

They'll lap these things up believe me, just make sure you advertise them as having a wide range of fitments with adaptors.

They'll also appeal to the VW boys and girls as well.

Rather than 99p, start them at the minimum you'll take and then state in the add no further reserve. Cover your arse both ways.
