Afternoon gents, has anyone seen for sale a set of the early type locking wheel nuts as fitted to the 80s and early 90s cars, they were a standardish nut with a big hole in the end, a seperate sleeve with a little lock that fitted in the end and proper key looked like a glovebox key.

My car has the later type fitted which are superior in every way but I really want it original (sad I know) and I'm sure someone will have a set of these kicking around somewhere.

Beer tokens are a waiting!

Likewise if anyone knows a specialist or company selling them or who may have a set kicking around if you could let me know I'd be very grateful.

ebay is your best bet and also ebay.de - they do come up from time to time, you just need to be patient

They aren't available any more sadly, plenty of the newer one piece type but I'm just being really anal about this car and trying to get it perfect.

Surely Porsche breakers must have removed loads of sets on cars they've broken over the years? Porsch-apart or Prestige Salvage? Lodge Sports? Jasmine? Might also be worth trying Hartech.

Tried most of them except Hartech, in a lot of cases they just junk them quite astonishingly.

Rang DV the other day for a list of bits as long as my arm and was told they would call me back.

Seems they aren't desperate for business because I'm still waiting.
