997tt gen1 upgrade to gen2

Hi guys

Wondering if anyone has done rear gen2 update to their 997 turbo gen1 themselves or know of how to do it?
So far I know I'm going to need the following:
Gen2 rear bumper+ bumper bracket
Gen2 led rear lights
Gen2 exhaust tips and housing

I've heard something about controllers for rear lamps to work correctly? Is this right?

If anyone can shed some light on this topic would be much appreciated
