Me too however when I managed to buy one a few years back I actulaly didnt really like it to drive (cant belive I said that!)
The picture shows the day i decided!

Amazing that the GT3 was only 10k more than the Carrera, given the relative values of them today.

Dont think it is a TurboS from rear spoiler: turboS not only had the side air scoops (as per picture) but also had both front and rear different from standard turbos

Yellow cal(l)ipers on an S too. You could spec the side vents on a normal Turbo.

This was the era when I devoured car mags. I had a Top Gear VHS with this 911 Turbo in it, far more exciting than a 993. Admittedly mainly due to the colour
