Porsche 356 Clutch change
Discussion
I have recently (2 weeks ago?) purchased a Porsche 356B (1962) LHD. Its beautiful!
However, I have since discovered that the whole clutch needs replacing - not so beautiful!
I am a novice car mechanic, so would rather entrust this sort of exercise to somebody experienced. I am based in the Edinburgh area, where there are some Porsche 'specialists', however I can't tell who is the best to go for this sort of work given the car's age and relative rarity. Any suggestions?
I would also like to get an understanding of Clutch prices for the 356 and what is entailed with changing one, so that i don't get totally ripped off if you know what I mean? - any feedback on this would also be appreciated.
