I currently have a 997.1 Turbo a nice example (07/07 14,500 miles, manual sports chrono etc) I am a year into it and I have enjoyed the car but this weekend I have been thinking about trading it for a 997.2 C4S PDK What has pushed me towards this is last year I was loaned one for a couple of days as a courtesy car and I really liked it. I would welcome any feedback from those of you that have had experience of both cars.

Thanks in advance

I have not owned a 997 turbo but have just bought an 18 month old C4S pdk.I traded from a Gen 2 Cayman S manual.
The C4S is awesome and so responsive. It is clearly more planted than my Cayman but you will be used to that with the turbo and the turbo must be quicker. Is it the pdk that attracts you? Having also owned a number of cars with current technology auto boxes, the pdk is the most impressive IMO.

I prefered the C4S PDK to compared to turbo pdk. No doubt turbo image as top of the tree and crazy speed is what is attractive to some.

But PDK C4S, sound with PSE, NA engine throttle reaction made it more involving and enjoyable for me. C4S GTS would be the one to get...imo

Yes the PDK does attract me, I found it very responsive and user friendly.

I just went the opposite way - from a PDK GTS4 to a 7.2TTS (PDK). In every way, I prefer the chassis and drivetrain dynamics of the TTS over that of the GTS4.
