Hi there. Just bought a Cayman R, with standard buckets. Lovely car but 2 questions actually if anybody can help?

1 - the passenger airbag cutoff switch does not seem to be where the manual suggests (ie on side of dash where it meets passenger door) - anybody know if it has one and if so where is it?

2 - anybody any recommendations for forward facing child seats for a 13 month old which fits in buckets?

The manual states that a) one should not use a child seat with buckets and b) that even with a forward facing child seat the airbag needs to be switched off (assuming standard sport seats). I thought as long as seat forward facing then using airbag was fine but might be moot point if there is a switch...

Cheers

I think you need to have the airbag deactivation kit fitted. Alternatively, take all the airbag fuses out of the fusebox smile

I'd take heed of the advice in the manual with regards to a).

If it says no child seat to be used in buckets it must be for a reason.
