N rated tyres at Porsche experience centre Silverstone

Over many years of Porsche ownership we've never quite figured out why Porsche are so anal about N rated tyres. Even Michelin fudged around the issue when I spoke to them and they couldn't tell me. Porsche warranty is an issue and even my local Porsche centre has struggled at times to get the required tyres to keep within the warranty rules. Their dealer principle even got a letter from Porsche telling him not to be a naughty boy.

I am sure we've had comments back from people who've attended Porsches experience centre at Silverstone and have seen non N rated tyres (or incorrect N rating) being used. We need photographic evidence and then my local service manager would like this as ammo when he goes to a Porsche coference in October. Anyone here who can help on this?
