The left side of the spoiler is failing to rise. I had a look and there is no pressure/resistance if I move it back and fourth, which I'm assuming is a leaked hydraulic..

Is this something that can be replaced fairly easily or is it best left to a professional? Can anyone comment on the expected repair cost?

Cheers

£1K! Bloody hell, I'm expecting some big bills for it but to replace a small hydraulic arm, I was expecting half that.

I wonder if its covered on the warranty....off to check

I think the 1k price is for the parts alone and would be the complete spoiler drive assembly including the rams.

Is this a 996 or a 996 Turbo? Big difference. 996 is electric motor, Turbo is hydraulic.

Either way, more than likely a dicky switch. If it's the Turbo, probably needs fluid.

Its a c4, so electric then, I thought they were all hydraulic? I'll consult the warranty tomorrow and take it from there.

Both electrically signalled but non Turbo has an electric motor. Turbo has a hydraulic actuator.
