I sent an email to Porsche in Germany asking when the updated maps will be released in DVD version for the PCM 2.1 version ( as in 997s ) and also if any maps will be available also in CD form for earlier cars as 996s (PCM 2.0) . Their reply was that updated maps in both DVD and CD versions will be available in the last quarter of 2012 .....

I bought the 08.2012 DVD for PCM2.1 a couple of weeks ago.

There is also a new release for PCM2.0 dated 08.2012, and is a 9-CD set.

Do they include the Hindhead Tunnel yet?

No idea if they include the Hindhead tunnel. I'll try to take a look later. They aren't bang up to date though. I've already found that the Dorchester-Weymouth bypass road isn't on them, which was built in 2011 for the Olympics.

With a bit of discount, they cost £325 inc VAT.

Looks like you answer is 'No'. I'll bow to your local knowledge, but it looks like the start of southern approach is there though.

No indeed. Thanks for looking, Richard - much appreciated. Not a massive surprise though - it took Google about a year to include it.

Nice tunnel for a drive BTW. Junctions just beyond each end for lowering/raising roof as required for soft-top tunnellers.

And for turning back for repeated runs of course..
