Just left Castle Combe after a brilliant day with Bookatrack in my 968. Met a guy there with a hot Audi TT which he had spent £150,000 upgrading as ultimate track car. Yep - £150,000! £21,000 went on a purpose made brake set up. Race engine, lightweight bespoke seats from Recaro, unobtanium cage etc etc.
Mike - you have still got some way to go with your GT3...
The mind boggles.

PS and before you ask, no it didn't leave us all in its wake. Obviously needs more upgrades to blow a 20 year old EMC prepped 968 into the weeds. evil

If you were spending £150k on the 'ultimate track car' then surely a TT wouldn't be the obvious starting point?

Oh - and the car was new out of the showroom at just under £50k - so nearly 200k in total.
yikes

Precisely. I had to read it back to make sure he meant Audi TT and not 996 Turbo.

Absolutely lunacy.

That is utter madness. An Audi TT of all things to spend a total £200K on!

Tuners probably saw him rock up in his Dads Bentley, rubbed their hands together and then proceeded to take the TT owners eyes out.hehe
