Blimey, I thought the Mp4-12C was heavy at 1450KG...

Thats one of the key issues with 'hybrid' technology i.e' 2 power sources. A lot of the benefit is bled away with the increased weight.

1700kg is daft. Lightness is the way forward! Come on guys!!
