Can this dent be fixed?
Discussion
Hi all,
After a year of incident free driving, I got out of the car yesterday to notice that some kind soul had, by the look of it, driven into my driver door and put a horrible crease in it
Obviously leaving any kind of note would have been too much to ask....
The weird thing is that the crease is raised rather than being indented which I'd have normally expected, though it does look like there's a subtle indent about an inch underneath which makes me think someone hit it and it then pushes the crease out like a concertina .
Anyway, I was wondering whether this was something that a skilled dent removal person could maybe fix, or at least make less obvious? I don't really have a clue what kind of magic they can do these days, but am hoping I don't have to buy a new door panel, as I bet they're not cheap....
Here's a pic anyway, I can get some better ones if needed, that's just a quick one off my phone.

Thanks in advance!

I know just the man that can do at least 90% of that so it's hardly noticeable PM me and I'll give you his details . He's based near Tadcaster not more than 20 minutes from you. He's the best dent man I've ever seen work use him all the time for my customers cars not expensive either!

Having used many a dent man over the years, not my fault I must add, and they've all told me that creases are impossible to fully remove. If that was mine it would be a new skin as I wouldn't want filler anywhere near a car of mine. Thus it would be an insurance job. Happy to hear if a dent man can do it well though. Good luck!

Manks, as it happens - I need his help!Could you pm me his name and number please if you don't want to put it up here?
TIA
edit; opps, sorry Kustard for crashing in on your thread. I hope that your crease is sorted and that there is no need to reskin the door. You could always try my dry cleaners. The creases in my work trousers drop out after 3 days.
