Specifically a 997.2 3.8 - does a Sport Chrono car have faster shift speeds in manual mode than a car without the SC package?
Just missed out on a car with PDK and SC, but have found one with a great spec - except for the SC pack. Wondering what I'm really missing, as was happy enough with the normal D mode for pottering about...

As far as I could tell, definitely yes.Just missed out on a car with PDK and SC, but have found one with a great spec - except for the SC pack. Wondering what I'm really missing, as was happy enough with the normal D mode for pottering about...
The car I had originally missed out on has become available again as the financing fell through apparently, so fingers crossed a deal can be done!
I was quoted £900 to fit a Sport button to the car without the SC pack (but you can't retrofit the stopwatch, apparently). Don't think I'd pay that much for it.
