Just registering my Porsche (911 carrera) upon arrival into Australia.
Asked would I like a personal plate, for a laugh I ask for CARRERA.

Yes sir, that's available would you like to purchase?

How much? I ask tentatively

$142 is the response. (about 90 quid)

so now proud owner - I dread to think how much that would have cost in the UK.

I'd be interested in that too in case I end up going there and also are UK spec legal unmodified do you think?

Let me know what you got and the current value and I will work out the tax/ duty for you based on current shipping rates.
This can change when actually shipping as the transport costs fluctuate and these costs are included in the tax amounts.
Like I stated before in other threads. I used to do this for a living prior to joining the boys in blue.
I know where to go and best ways to ship, also all the cons they use.
If you dont know what your doing you'll pay well over the odds.

My fee????

After receipt of the car, a slab of speckled hen bought online from melbourne and shipped up to me costing you about $140!!! I reckon I will save you between 3-10k on the quote.

All UK cars are pretty much same spec as Oz so no major mods needed.
If you have aftermarket add ons that dont have eu spec stamps then they probably wont pass.
