I was at this event today and a guy spun his Carrera GT into the straw bails only a few hundred yards from the start line made a bit of a mess of it! The track was so greasy/wet it was no wonder. Felt for him, I am led to believe he is a good Stratstone customer with some nice cars anyone know the guy or the car? Apparently he got banned from the track for the rest of the show I think he might have had other cars there?

If it was, I'm sure the owner would rather keep it to himself ...

I am sure the owner would rather keep it to himself but about a thousand people saw it either from the start point or on the big screen which was replayed and most there had cameras! Yes it was damaged, left the other side of the bails with its car cover on all morning.

Also saw this, there was a lot of gravel/crap on the nearside just before where he went off which won't have helped him with today's weather!
Took pictures on my phone but I won't post as I also felt for him

I think he stuffed an Aston recently as well. He calmly went to the Start Marquee and downed some Champers... Well managed recovery IMHO.

Good chap. The CGT is not easy to restrain.
