advice appreciated - 996 turbo

This is in a 2002 996 turbo that is for sale. Any suggestions as to how or what could be done to make this look better? I presume there would have been a cupholder above the original unit but there is just an ugly gap and looks pretty rubbish to me. Can't seem to find any suitable blanking plates or carbon trim on the net. Thank you.

Looks like the cup holder is still there to me?

You can get double din fascias on ebay I beleive that will fill the gap, the one round it now is the universal(fits nothing!) piece that comes with the unit.

I had a large touch screen fitted to mine when I got it a couple of years ago.
The audio shop ordered 3 different facias before they found the one which fitted and filled the gaps.
I would take it somewhere and ask them to order the right one for your car/stereo combo.

OT, but does it have a aero kit, I notice there is no button for the rear wing.

yes - aerokit is fitted, and the cupholder is still there.

As it happens I went to look at the car today and although it has good recent history, I wasn't happy about other things with the car, so walked away without bothering to drive it.
